Project Director/Team Leader - Transportation

One of New Zealand's top professional services firms is seeking a proven project professional to take up position as Transportation Project Director/Team Leader for the Auckland region.
This senior level role in the Transportation team requires a qualified, highly experienced Project Manager/Engineer to lead and manage significant regional highways projects.
In particular, the successful candidate will need to demonstrate ability / skills at a high level in:
· Leadership and people management
· Financial management and commercial acumen
· Business development
· Client management
· Health and safety responsibilities.
Core skills needed:
· Civil Engineering Degree or equivalent
· Minimum 15 years professional consulting experience
· Proven track record in the delivery of substantial transportation projects
· Working knowledge of various physical works procurement methods including design and construct, early contractor involvement (ECI), alliances and traditional methods.
