Quality Assurance Manager

A leading multidisciplinary construction consultancy is currently looking for a Quality Assurance Manager to second to one of their long-standing national clients.
You will be responsible for designing and delivering a quality assurance programme for an end user client to bring tangible benefit to the client's employees. You will also be responsible for devising a way to measure and report on the implementation and effect of the programme.
This is a senior position and will involve liaising at board level to influence the way the property portfolio is managed with regards to move, facilities and construction.
You will ensure that the corporate standard is delivered on the ground, which could range from the colour of the walls, signage and toilet facilities to specific storage allocations of different departments and break out area design.
Essential
- Experience of designing and implementing a TQM programme for a major UK company, ideally within the property or associated industry.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills - to be able to liaise internally at board level and externally with contractors and consultants on property related quality issues to provide service improvements.
- The ability to monitor and analyse the progress of the programme and recommend improvements, managing any consequent implementation plans.
- Previous experience of working on secondment to a leading corporate client.
- Degree educated (ideally an architectural, design or business discipline).
- Member of the CQI, ideally to MCQI CQP or FCQI CQP level.
- Team player, outgoing and flexible.
Fixed term contract basis for one year, with the possibility to extend the contract.
