VP - Structured Finance Origination - Abu Dhabi

Our client is a well regarded Abu Dhabi investment group with an enviable financial position. This opportunity is for an Arabic-speaking structured finance originator with top-tier experience to join the business and play a key role in expanding its structured finance offering.
With a broad range of subsidiary businesses and shareholdings in GCC financial institutions this well regarded Abu Dhabi group has international investment interests in sectors ranging from infrastructure through real estate to asset and Islamic Finance. It is in a very secure financial position and is looking to use this to exploit the opportunities that currently exist. There is therefore the need for an Arabic-speaking VP to be hired to originate and structure structured finance opportunities, predominantly in the MENA Region.
Interested candidates must possess:
• Fluent, ideally Native, written and spoken Arabic.
• Significant structured finance experience gained within top-tier international investment or corporate banks.
• The ability to originate transactions within the MENA Region.
• Strong leadership, management and mentoring skills.
Our client appreciates that there is significant value in considering candidates from both within and outside the MENA Region. Those in the region should already have experience originating a broad variety of transactions including structured finance. Those outside must have worked for a top-tier investment/corporate bank (Deutsche, Goldman, SocGen for example) in a leading developed financial centre. The criteria for candidates not based in the MENA Region already will be stricter and therefore candidates in this bracket must specialise in leveraged finance, securitisation or general structured finance.
