I have been involved in sales for about 4 years and have been recruiting within the Construction and Engineering industry, with a focus on infrastructure, for just over 2 years. I have placed candidates of all levels, from Assistants to Heads of Department, covering a variety of disciplines within the industry, such as Engineers, Project Managers, Design Managers and Quantity Surveyors.
I have found the most proven way to be successful within recruitment is by building a large and trusted network of both candidates and clients, and I would say that my approach has always been professional, effective and efficient. This way both clients and candidates receive all the correct information when needed thus guaranteeing that the relationships we develop are successful and long lasting.
Personally, the most motivating part of the job is being able to influence and have an impact on some of the UK’s most iconic and nationally significant projects. Seeing these projects through to completion, and knowing the vast amount of people that will benefit from these projects, fills me with a sense of pride and accomplishment.
I have worked for Cobalt for just over a year now, and the business really has grown in the short time I have been here.
