Cobalt is working with a leading property investment company on an Assistant Building Manager position in the City of London.

You will take on the management of two trophy assets; multi-tenanted commercial offices, where from day one you will be building long-term relationships with the tenants, be client-facing, and have a great opportunity to grow into the position while working for a well-known leader in the market. This is the perfect opportunity for someone who wants to gain some invaluable experience and kick start their building management career.

This position would suit an Assistant Building Manager looking to take the next step in their career.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Undertaking regular inspections of the property;

• Assisting the Property Manager in the PPM for building plant and fabric, including project work from time to time;

• Ensuring full compliance with health and safety legislation, as well as promoting sustainability wherever possible;

• Assisting the Property Manager in setting and managing service charge budgets;

• Managing the work of on-site contractors for both hard and soft services;

• Building lasting professional relationships with occupiers to drive forward a first-class FM service.
