Cobalt is seeking an ambitious Assistant Building Manager to work for a market leading managing agent in the heart of Leeds. The opportunity has arisen due to an internal promotion, leaving plenty of room for your personal and professional development within the firm. Assisting in the management of a large flagship site, you will be right in the heart of vibrant Leeds City Centre. Key Responsibilities Include;

  • Assisting and holding responsibility for the drafting, control and reporting of the Service Charge Budget for the site.

  • Guarantee the continuous compliance with all health and safety procedures and legislature for the site and its records.

  • Being based both in the office and front desk to be the point of contact for tenants and answering/resolving any queries that arise.

  • Ensure the building is maintained to the correct standard, liaising with all key stakeholders involved.

  • Monitor and review KPIs set by the client and key stakeholders to achieve targets.

Key Requirements Include;

  • Comprehensive knowledge of health and safety procedures and legislation to safeguard the building.

  • IOSH or IWFM qualification highly desirable.

  • Understanding of service charge budgeting and processes involved.

  • Ability to maintain and improve relationships with key stakeholders including clients, tenants and suppliers.

  • Experience in the management of external service providers and the KPIs involved.

  • Exceptional communication skills with members of the public as part of this role involves managing the front desk.
