Assistant Planners / Planners
We are working with a brilliant planning consultancy based in London as they seek an Assistant Planner and a Planner to join their growing planning team in the city.
The Planners will be an integral part of the team and assist in the delivery of projects that span the London and wider UK on behalf of a very reputable client base. As part of a growing Planning team your role will be hands-on with you afforded the opportunity to become heavily involved in:
Undertaking site research and providing details on relevant planning history
Preparing, submitting, and monitoring planning applications for residential, commercial, retail and mixed-use developments
Assisting in planning appeals
Drafting site appraisals for clients
Engaging regularly with clients, local authorities and working collaboratively with colleagues
Reviewing planning policy
It is an exciting time for our client as their workload and Planning team continues to grow, therefore, this opportunity is suited to those with a strong academic background in Planning and ideally some form of work experience either within the private or public sectors. You will engage with blue chip clients and be afforded the opportunity to be involved in major schemes across the country whilst receiving plenty of support from your colleagues.
Strong communication skills are required within this Planning team as you will be afforded the opportunity to hold a key role in the delivery of projects and shall engage regularly with clients and Planning Officers throughout the planning process. APC support will be provided for your journey to becoming a chartered member of the RTPI.
