Cobalt is seeking a Building Manager for a prestigious Grade A, listed building in the West-End, following an internal promotion.

This 90,000 sq ft listed office development is owned by a sought-after landlord, whilst it is managed by your potential employer who is an extremely well-regarded managing agent, with a well deserved reputation for doing things the right way and developing their FM staff into market-leading facilities professionals. Our client has invested heavily into this property, and is looking to continue that investment by giving you the autonomy and financial support to provide a modern Building Management service - combining great maintenance management with forward-thinking customer-service.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing a proactive FM service throughout the building, building on close working relationships with the long-term occupiers of this property;

  • Managing the work of outsourced suppliers in line with KPI's and SLA's, for both hard and soft service suppliers;

  • Setting and managing the service charge budgets for the site;

  • Ensuring full H&S compliance throughout the development;

  • Overseeing all maintenance to building plant and fabric, in addition to minor project works as may arise from time to time;

  • Conducting regular site inspections.

Our client is looking for someone who can match strong building management with exceptional customer-liaison skills, delivering the first-class FM service that a building like this deserves, whilst building strong working relationships with valued occupiers within the building. It is essential that you have held management responsibility for an entire building previously (including common areas as opposed to just tenanted floors) whilst an IOSH is essential.
