An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic Surveyor to join a busy Capital Markets team in the city centre. You will assist to further enhance the firm's leading position within the commercial property market with the opportunity to work with a diverse client base across the North of England, involved in market leading projects. The appointed candidate must be able to demonstrate the following experience:

• MRICS qualified; registered valuer also preferable

• Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications and relevant IT-based systems, including a high level of competence in Excel.

• Excellent report writing skills are imperative to deliver clear and concise advice

• Some knowledge of Discounted Cash Flow valuations is an advantage

• Strong analytical skills including problem solving and an inquisitive mind

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with an eye for detail and first-rate report writing ability

• Personable individual with a commitment to excellence and developing strong client relationships.

• Knowledge of Argus Developer is an advantage

• High level of organisational skills required to enable competing workstreams to be completed on time, taking into account high pressure deadlines.

• A degree of flexibility in order to move from one task to another without a loss of productivity

• Willingness to travel throughout UK

• The ability to adapt to changes initiated by the department or the client.

• Perseverance and stamina with a drive for results in order to maintain momentum and complete the task.
