It has been a positive start to the year across the Planning sector and we are delighted to be assisting a client with another hire as they seek an experienced Planner to join their office in Birmingham.

With a focus on projects across Birmingham city centre and the Midlands the experienced Planner will have a pivotal role in leading on and contributing to residential, commercial, and mixed-use schemes. Our client is renowned for delivering high-quality projects on behalf of an enviable client base that includes developers, retailers, house builders and wealthy individuals and provides a supportive environment to flourish in. The team is led by Directors with a fantastic breadth of experience and you will become an integral member of a growing team and able to gain experience handling a varied workload including superb city centre projects that are hard to come by in Birmingham.

The consultancy is seeking an experienced and chartered Planner, Senior Planner or Associate Planner who will be able to lead on small to medium sized planning applications, engage with clients and draft/submit an array of planning documentation. The planning team is not rigid in its structure allowing you the opportunity to work across a wide array of projects so that you can regularly challenge yourself and develop your skill set.

The successful Planner will be able to demonstrate a breadth of consultancy experience and shall be able to handle a challenging workload that spans residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects. Additionally, an Associate would need to demonstrate an ability to begin their part in generating new opportunities and being a key leader within the office. Excellent communication skills are required as you shall regularly engage with the client base, local planning authorities across the Midlands and the wider business which incorporates other service lines across the Property sector.
