Working on an exclusive basis, Cobalt are excited to be supporting a new and innovative business, leading the way in Commercial property in Central London. This private real estate office development business has a quickly expanding portfolio of assets and requires a senior level, delivery focused Project/Development Manager who can drive projects from initial feasibility and design, through to construction and delivery.

Their product is a CAT A+ model, offering refreshing and adaptable office spaces that benefit investors, occupiers, tenants, and landlords alike. This young business already has a portfolio of developments that range in size and GDV (£10-50million) and this close-knit development team, comprised of Acquisitions and Development Directors, now need a talented Project Director to be the driving force of the business through construction.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects at various stages from design, through procurement, tender, construction and handover; working closely with the design team, asset management team, external stakeholders and be responsible for contractor management and ensuring project delivery to time, quality and cost across the portfolio. You will also need knowledge and experience in 'front-end' development management; actively advising and supporting investment, feasibility, acquisition, and due diligence stages.

Our client requires someone with proven experience in commercial and office sectors and solid understanding of building regulations and various delivery methods (JCT, Design & Build, Construction Management) in a similar role either within a development business or consultancy.

This is a client-side role in a close-knit team and our client requires an adaptable and collaborative work style as well as entrepreneurial spirit.

Remuneration:

£80,000 - £100,000 + Benefits + LTIP/investment options.

Requirements:

  • Experience working for a Consultancy or Developer at Director level
  • Ideally MRICS
  • Cost Management background ideal
  • Detailed knowledge of various forms of UK building contracts
  • Proven experience delivering commercial projects with an exceptional track record in CAT A & B office fit out
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
