Credit Control Team Lead
Up to £38,000 DOE

My client is a leading property investment business looking for a Credit Control Team Lead to join their growing finance team in Manchester. You will have previous experience in a similar role implementing new processes and installing change to consistently streamline debt collection for the business.
Main duties include:
Maximise rent collection and keep to a minimum any risk to the business in terms of bad debt.
Ensuring that company policies and procedures are adhered to in respect of handling tenant debts
Proactively alerting the management to collection problems
Proactively chasing outstanding rent via telephone
Weekly reporting of outstanding rents and any issues with a plan of action to turn around
Liaising with lettings department to ensure all tenant queries, are resolved in a timely manner
Assisting when needed to prepare monthly invoice run and posting of all direct debit payment
The ideal candidate will have:
Previous experience in debt collecting from individuals
Four years plus experience in a role with successful management and minimisation of the company debt
A Lettings or Property background is an advantage here
Be able to demonstrate planning and organisation skills
Be able to work independently and as part of a team
