Cobalt are working with a NHS Trust in Greater Manchester to recruit an interim Domestic Services Manager to support the Facilities Manager, initially 3-6 months with a view to extend. This role is paying £160-175 per day LTD rate (inside IR35, via umbrella company) depending on experience.
The successful candidate will have experience managing Soft FM staff, work well in a team environment, have excellent organisational skills and ensure a high quality of Soft Facilities services.
You will be able to:
Be responsible for domestic services supervisors and assistants.
Ensure domestic services are provided in line with National Cleaning Standard, Colour Coding Standard and Infection Control requirements.
Provide quality staff management and service through training and support.
Ensure cleaning services are provided within budget and staffing limits.
Provide effective staff and rota/shift management.
Attend departmental meetings to brief staff on the status of domestic services.
Review and update departmental procedures to ensure the ancillary team operates safely and in line with legislation, Trust policies, local and national directives.
Develop planned preventive maintenance (PPM) schedule to ensure that machinery is maintained to a satisfactory standard.
