A leading European provider of vehicle parts and accessories is seeking an Estates Surveyor to join their in-house (remote working) real estate team.
This position will successfully deliver all estate management services including the day-to-day management and responsibility of all leases, including lease renewals, rent reviews and all L&T matters. The role will be based remotely as their portfolio spreads across the UK and Ireland, consisting of retail warehouses/warehouses and office assets.
The Estates Surveyor will work closely with the Head of Real Estate and the Estates Manager. Key responsibilities include:
Collaborate with the UK&I management team to determine real estate requirements.
Manage and execute all transactions and property management activities.
Ensure all lease accountancy and administration is accurate.
Analyse the existing portfolio, including lease costs, space requirements and how they can be optimised.
Drive continual improvement in all assets of the real estate portfolio.
Create annual real estate portfolio budgets.
Liaise with landlords, tenants and third parties to resolve property related matters.
Manage the end of lease and dilapidation process.
Manage all L&T notices and provide internal advice on L&T matters.
Key Estates Surveyor requirements:
Degree qualified.
Member of RICS is preferred.
Competent Landlord & Tenant knowledge.
Excellent communication and analytic skills.
Previous Estate Surveying/Management experience would be advantageous.
This role is based remotely with regular travel to sites across the UK, plus quarterly visits to Ireland.
Salary is from £45,000 - £60,000 dependent on level and location, plus benefits.
