Estates Surveyor

A leading European provider of vehicle parts and accessories is seeking an Estates Surveyor to join their in-house (remote working) real estate team.

This position will successfully deliver all estate management services including the day-to-day management and responsibility of all leases, including lease renewals, rent reviews and all L&T matters. The role will be based remotely as their portfolio spreads across the UK and Ireland, consisting of retail warehouses/warehouses and office assets.

The Estates Surveyor will work closely with the Head of Real Estate and the Estates Manager. Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate with the UK&I management team to determine real estate requirements.

  • Manage and execute all transactions and property management activities.

  • Ensure all lease accountancy and administration is accurate.

  • Analyse the existing portfolio, including lease costs, space requirements and how they can be optimised.

  • Drive continual improvement in all assets of the real estate portfolio.

  • Create annual real estate portfolio budgets.

  • Liaise with landlords, tenants and third parties to resolve property related matters.

  • Manage the end of lease and dilapidation process.

  • Manage all L&T notices and provide internal advice on L&T matters.

Key Estates Surveyor requirements:

  • Degree qualified.

  • Member of RICS is preferred.

  • Competent Landlord & Tenant knowledge.

  • Excellent communication and analytic skills.

  • Previous Estate Surveying/Management experience would be advantageous.

This role is based remotely with regular travel to sites across the UK, plus quarterly visits to Ireland.

Salary is from £45,000 - £60,000 dependent on level and location, plus benefits.
