Facilities Manager

Cobalt is working with a leading property business who is seeking to add a Facilities Manager to their Central London team. You'll take ownership of a portfolio of 10-15 commercial multi-let office buildings across Central London and the City, working as part of a wider extensive FM function for a name that would bolster the CV of any FM.

This is a role that will be partly home-based, in conjunction with regular site visits (c 3 days a week) which will be conducting in line with your own diary.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting site visits and inspections;

  • Setting and managing service charge budgets;

  • Conducting health and safety audits, ensuring full compliance with UK legislative requirements;

  • Ensuring that your portfolio is effectively maintained, managing PPM and reactive works to building plant and fabric, as well as minor project works where necessary;

  • Managing the work of external contractors for both hard and soft FM delivery;

  • Building lasting relationships with key stakeholders in order to provide a top-tier total FM service delivery for your tenants.

Our client is seeking an established multi-site FM who is looking to take their career to the next level. Experience of managing a service charge budget is essential, as is experience with maintenance of common areas, and an IOSH qualification.
