Facilities Manager

Cobalt is recruiting on behalf of a well known name in UK Real Estate who, following on from growth in their business following on from winning further business from a strategically important client. This role will see you managing a portfolio of 5 multi-let commercial developments, with 2 days based in London and the remainder home-based with complete control of your own diary. Our client is looking for an individual for not just the present, but someone ambitious who can seize the opportunity at hand and continue to progress within the business over the long term future.

Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Conducting regular site inspections of building fabric, and plant across your limited portfolio;

• Building lasting working relationships with key stakeholders, especially tenants and your client;

• Setting and managing service charge budgets;

• Ensuring full H&S compliance throughout the portfolio;

• Promoting sustainability and green initiatives;

• Managing the work of outsourced suppliers and in-house staff;

• And other ad hoc duties as reasonably expected.

Our client is looking for someone from a background in real estate, with experience of managing multiple properties and/or larger commercial developments previously. Experience with managing common areas, building plant, and service charge budgets is essential, as is possessing an IOSH qualification too.
