Facilities Manager

Cobalt is delighted to be partnering with a well-known property consultancy company as they seek to hire a Regional FM for the South West of England.

Our client has an opportunity for a new Facilities Manager to manage a portfolio of circa 20 mixed-use commercial and industrial properties within with Southampton area. You will be given the support that you need in order to effectively manage your portfolio while working for a growing business.

Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Conducting regular site visits and inspections, around your diary (except in cases of emergencies)

  • Setting and managing service charge budgets;

  • Managing planned and reactive maintenance works to building plant and fabric;

  • Overseeing plant upgrades and fit-out projects in conjunction with project managers as they arise;

  • Ensuring full H&S compliance in line with UK legislation;

  • Managing the work of outsourced suppliers including for security, cleaning, and M&E amongst others;

Our client is looking for an individual with a base of experience in managing multiple properties, and whilst commercial experience is desirable, it is not essential. An IOSH or NEBOSH is also desirable. A UK driver's license and access to a vehicle is essential.
