Facilities Manager

Cobalt is partnering with a well-established real estate developer as they embark on a multi-billion pound expansion of their already-impressive property portfolio. Our client is one of the leading names in the residential sector, specializing particularly in the Build-to-Rent industry, building and managing modern communities across the UK.

To capitalise on this exciting growth phase, our client is looking to bring on board a Facilities Manager for London and the South-East to join the existing team. You'll report directly into the Head of Facilities Management, and take ownership of a modern portfolio of residential developments in the region, having real autonomy over the strategy and operational management of your properties.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Regularly attending and inspecting the properties;

• Overseeing the effective maintenance of plant and building fabric across your portfolio;

• Ensuring full compliance with H&S legislation, signing off on permits to work, and overseeing RAMS;

• Managing the work of external contractors for hard and soft services;

• Having input into the mobilisation process for new developments as they enter the soft-landings phase;

• Line management for team members in time.

This is a hybrid role, across London and the South East so the ability to drive and access to a vehicle is essential. An IOSH is mandatory, whilst prior residential experience in some form is desirable.
