£50,000-£60,000 (depending on experience) - (including use of property)

Cobalt is currently working with a client-side organisation in Bedfordshire that requires a Head of Property Maintenance to join the team. The portfolio in question consists of 350 residential properties, 25 commercial rental properties, and a few niche properties all within the Bedfordshire area.

Requirements in the role include:

• Assisting in the preparation and delivery of the rolling property maintenance plan, making the best use of the property management system.

• Responsible for effective management of maintenance and refurbishment projects from inception through to completion ensuring delivery within budget, programme and quality standards.

• Line manage the Maintenance Surveyors and the in-house maintenance team daily, ensuring compliance with Health and Safety and the CDM Regulations.

• Ensure the Maintenance Surveyors undertake all annual inspections and maintain the appropriate inspection log to the required standard.

What you will need to succeed:

• Previous experience in successfully managing directly employed teams and making sure that teams can efficiently work to timed deadlines

• Previous experience in managing and liaising with contractors and consultants.

• Varied and up-to-date building construction knowledge as well as a relevant Building or Surveying qualification or degree.

• You will need to be a committed individual who has apparent attention to detail and leadership skills.

• Full Drivers License
