Patient Advice and Liaison Officer

1 month contract - £136 per day

Cobalt is working with an NHS Trust in London to source an interim Patient Advice and Liaison Officer. In this crucial role you will ensure you provide an accessible and responsive service for patients, carers relatives and members of the public who have concerns about the care and treatments their families are receiving.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure complaints are acknowledged in writing within the time frame of 3 working days

  • Make sure to listen with empathy when resolving problems and concerns from the patients and careers

  • Liaise with general managers, clinicians and matrons to ensure the complaint investigation is being carried out in line with procedures and that an action plan is developed to ensure service improvement

  • Create preparation reports

  • Provide advice and information about the trust's formal complaints procedure to patients
