Property Accountant - Client Side
London
Up to £42,000 (Experience dependant)
Cobalt is delighted to be supporting a prestigious landlord, who are currently seeking a Client Accountant with exceptional Service Charge Accounting experience to join their highly successful team.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for ensuring that client statements and VAT reports are generated for each month end
Reconciliation of client bank accounts on a monthly basis, along with production of Client reporting in accordance with Client expectations
Attend quarterly service charge accounting meetings with building teams to review actual expenditure for the year to date against budget
Raise Pre-Demand Lists for review by the Property Management Team
Raise demands for service charge and rent on a quarterly basis
Attend occupier meetings where requested and assist with any client queries
Coordinate half year forecasts and annual service charge budget processes with the Property Teams
Organise and attend first and second draft review meetings and ensure budgets are issued at least one month prior to the new service charge year or in accordance with client expectations
Continuously review processes and procedures, whilst implementing improvements and ensure best practice.
Personal Specifications:
Previous experience working in a Senior Client Accountant capacity within Real Estate
Strong Service Charge accounting experience
You must have strong experience working with the Property Management system Qube ECS, Horizon or similar systems
To be a highly motivated individual with an excellent attention to detail
Proficient across Microsoft Office, especially Excel
