Client Side - Quality Manager

Construction / Manufacturing / Pharmaceutical

Location: Macclesfield

Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 (dependant on experience)

Package: £6,000 car allowance + excellent benefits

Our client is a market leading, world-renowned consultancy and construction company, with a turnover in excess of £2 billion.

A client side opportunity has opened for an influential construction Quality Manager to join their consultancy business.

Based on site in Macclesfield, the Quality Manager will be working with our client's client, a global and well-reputed pharmaceutical company. The facility is one of the largest employers in the Macclesfield area where medicines are manufactured, packed, and distributed.

The successful Quality Manager will have a natural ability to influence, negotiate, and work in partnership with all key stake holders and contractors to ensure quality is seen as highly important.

You will be confident in presenting to a room of senior people, explaining why quality is so important and ensuring standards are met throughout the project life cycle.

As Quality Manager you will have excellent knowledge of quality control processes, inspecting, sampling, non-conformance, defect management and auditing. You will support project delivery from a quality assurance perspective, including design and manufacturing through to installation and completion.

You will be digitally savvy with excellent knowledgeable in ISO 9001. You will have a strong construction quality management background, experienced in leading and motivating teams and building secure client relationships.

Ideally, you will hold a degree or certification with relevance to the construction industry or quality management.

Previous experience working in quality management within a consultancy or client side, or working within pharmaceutical / manufacturing businesses would be advantageous.

Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 (dependant on experience)
