Residential Facilities Manager

Cobalt is working on a new opportunity with a well-established Real Estate brand which is looking to add a forward-thinking Facilities Manager to their existing FM function. You'll be managing a residential portfolio predominantly around London and the Southern home counties, taking full ownership of your own diary and working patterns, with the role being a blend of site-visits, working from home, and our clients modern office.

The portfolio will be a mix of conventional residential blocks and purpose built PRS developments, whilst our client takes pride in the proactive investment approach they bring to their portfolio.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting regular inspections of the properties, ensuring the effective maintenance of the building plant and fabric;

• Working alongside the Health and Safety team to ensure full compliance with UK legislation is achieved;

• Directly line managing team members including assistants and building managers;

• Managing the work of outsourced suppliers for both hard and soft service provision;

• Managing the service charge budgets;

Our client is looking for an established Facilities Manager with experience of the residential sector, with the ambition to challenge themselves and take their career to the next level. An IOSH is essential, but equally important as your hard skills experience will be your emotional intelligence and ability to liaise and forge relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
