Cobalt are delighted to be working with a leading Consultancy who are currently seeking a Senior Client Accountant to work on site at one of their retail portfolios.

Core responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for monitoring and reporting on all service charge expenditure and project costs on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.

• Support the management team to achieve agreed financial targets through effective and timely financial reporting

• Ensure that processes are in place to accurately forecast and analyse expenditure trends

• Review costs and expenses relating to the management of the portfolio, track against budgets and take corrective action where appropriate

• To support / lead the quarterly monthly reconciliation process with the Facilities Management provider

• To adopt the key role in co-ordinating and preparing the annual service budgets

• To review and assist in the preparation of the year end budget reconciliation

• Attending client visits and managing both internal and external relationships

Person Specifications

• Previous experience working within a Real Estate finance function

• Wealth of knowledge across Service Charge Accounts

• Possess strong IT skills, inclusive of experience working across property management systems such as Tramps

• Organised and can work to strict deadlines.

• Good communicator with strong interpersonal skills.

• Effectively manage a small team and can work off own initiative
