Senior Fund Officer

Our client is a well-known funds consultancy. They provide high quality Alternative Investment services, with a focus on Real Estate and Private Equity funds across Europe. They are currently looking for a Senior Fund Officer to join their team in Luxembourg and be primarily responsible for all aspects of day-to-day fund accounting and administration.

You will join a human-sized, multinational team and work closely with some of the top firms in the Private Equity and Real Estate industry. You will have great career prospects as the company has a fast growth and significant exposure to the alternative investment funds industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation/ review of NAVs, distributions, monthly/quarterly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts and interim and annual statutory accounts

  • Liaising with Auditors, and Business Partners

  • Production of quarterly NAVs, review CIT and VAT return, cash flow forecasting and treasury work

  • Preparation of Statutory financial statements in accordance with accounting standards (IFRS, LUX GAAP)

  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards

  • Ensure completion of all administrative matters for Luxembourg entities under administration

Requirements:

  • Relevant academic Degree; Accounting qualification or working towards that

  • Proven working experience in fund accounting/ administration in Luxembourg

  • Good understanding of company law and investment funds framework

  • Technical knowledge of LUX GAAP and/or IFRS

  • Experience using ViewPoint or Yardi system would be a great asset

  • Experience in reviewing and coaching more junior team members

  • Strong communication and analytical skills and attention to detail
