Senior Management Accountant - 12-month FTC

A Senior Management Accountant is needed for a reputable property service business for a 12-month FTC. This Senior Management Accountant will join an already existing market-leading team.

This company is FTSE listed and has over 600 employees across Europe, South America, Asia and Oceania. They are going through a period of expansion and are looking to bring on new talent. The Senior Management Accountant will work closely with the Financial Controller on all aspects of the management accounts and day-to-day running of the team.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Financial Controller to managing the operational team of three including reviewing and authorising journals

  • Arrange the management accounts pack for review with the Financial Controller

  • Responsible for the accounting and variance analysis of payroll

  • Take ownership of the management accounting process; preparing, reviewing and preparing reports for budget holders

  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders, finance and non-finance

  • Assist the Financial Controller with the cash flow forecasting and budget process

  • Review management accounts and analysis reports to discuss with financial controller

  • Review all finance processes and work alongside the Financial Controller and wider finance team to improve and streamline them

  • Working on ad hoc projects as required

For this role, you will need:

  • An Accounting Qualification (ACA/ACCA or equivalent)

  • 4-5 years' financial and management accounting post qualified experience

  • Proven experience managing, developing and mentoring a team

  • A commercial mindset and the passion to improve processes

  • Working knowledge of SUN and Q&A Accounts is highly desirable

  • High levels of Excel skills
