Cobalt are working with a NHS Trust in West Yorkshire to source an interim Senior Project Manager, paying £220 - £240 per day LTD rate (inside IR35, via umbrella company) for an initial 6 month contract.
The successful candidate will be working with the Head of Capital and project managing a range of multi-million pound schemes. The role is more project management focused in the sense of it will be working with the Trust's appointed architects / designers / engineers for design to then managing appointed construction partners on site to deliver the schemes. There will be a need to work with NHS client side staff to work on briefs / plans / accommodation schedules through the design and construction phases. The Trust has a been giving additional funding to cope with Covid-19 and now has a £17m capital programme to deliver by the end of March 2021 and the successful candidate will provide crucial support to the team during this time.
You will have/be able to:
A degree or equivalent knowledge and experience in Construction/Design.
Experience within a NHS healthcare environment.
Demonstrable experience of liaising with contractors.
Demonstrable experience of having managed multiple construction, design and refurbishment projects.
Significant experience in planning and delivery of capital programmes.
A strong track record in managing schemes to time and budget.
A proven ability to come up with flexible and creative solutions to difficult problems.
Effective communication skills.
