Sustainability Design Executive
London - Hybrid Working
£45,000 - £55,000 + Bonus & Benefits
Cobalt is proud to be partnering with a leading Property Company who are due to be responsible for some of the most exciting regeneration and refurbishment projects in the sector and this companies commitment to reducing their portfolios impact and environment is an utmost priority.
This role will be actively partnering with the Portfolio and Development teams ensuring that the refurbishments for the development pipeline are sustainable designs.
Key Responsibilities
Working with delivery partners to ensure WELL & BREAM are optimised and delivered across a wide variety of refurbishment projects
Develop and review appropriate policies and guidance documents and support the delivery of sustainability strategy, including the sustainability briefs for projects
Assist with marketing materials for projects
Work with leasing teams and attending briefs and meetings with 3rd parties
Lead the reduction of supply chain carbon emissions through design and procurement
Work closely with development teams to make sure the design and delivery of projects meets all the sustainability metrics and ensuring that consistency in planning applications and liaison with local authorities.
Submission to ESG benchmarks (GRESB, DJSI, CDP) and providing all relevant information to questions related to refurbishment projects
Key Attributes
Property and Construction knowledge is essential
Knowledge of working closely teams of multiple disciplines
Be literate in carbon accounting but modelling experience is not required (but you will get exposure to)
Knowledge of WELL, BREAM, NABERS, GRESB is beneficial but NOT Essential
