Asset Manager - Client Side

Cobalt have been instructed to secure the appointment of an Assistant Manager, Asset Management for the international real estate operator of a foreign pension fund. The company has over $70bn AUM globally, with an ever-expanding footprint in the UK.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing marketing strategy to establish market positioning, pricing, and segmentation of the portfolio.

  • Repositioning of assets, enhancing cash flow and asset value.

  • Collating and preparing annual budgets and reports, considering financial performance, leasing status and rental collection.

  • Ensuring, with the support of the Property Manager, the assets are suitably maintained, managed and compliant.

  • Developing and nurturing relationships with occupiers and engaging with stakeholders from local authorities, agents, and consultants.

  • Mentoring and guiding junior colleagues in their continued development.

  • Sourcing and analysing market intelligence to ensure competitiveness of the portfolio and service delivery.

Key role requirements:

  • Relevant Degree in Real Estate, Facilities Management or equivalent.

  • 4-6 years experience in asset management, leasing, and property management within the commercial sector of real estate.

  • Strong knowledge of the local market and key commercial assets in the locality.

  • Proven experience advising and managing relationships with high profile, international, multi-sector occupiers.

  • Naturally proactive and informative approach to relationship building and communication.
