Assistant Group Accountant

Cobalt is currently working with a market leading, pan European investor / asset manager. Our client is looking for a Group Assistant Accountant to join its Group Finance Function.

Reporting into the Finance Manager, the successful applicant will take responsibility for accounting activities within the company's corporate entity in the UK. As well as, supporting senior stakeholders and other business departments, with detailed and timely analysis.

Responsibilities include:

• Support the Group Finance team with in-depth analysis

• Preparation of monthly management accounts and quarterly reporting

• Preparation of annual statutory accounts and managing the audit process

• Responsible for VAT returns

• Oversight of billing and remittance of asset management fees across the group

• Involvement in the migration of financial systems

• Support the preparation and presentation of internal reporting to Senior Management

Requirements:

• Part Qualified, ACA, ACCA or CIMA

• Experience working within property or construction

• Excellent Excel skills

• Highest standards of accuracy and precision

• Energy and drive to deliver in a fast-paced environment
