Development Manager - Co-Living Investor & Developer

Cobalt Recruitment has the pleasure of working exclusively with an alternative residential focused, prime real estate Investment and Development Company based in London. Backed by institutional funds, this business is committed to delivering sustainable living within urban locations.

With further funding in place, this developer is geared to deliver a number of developments within BTR, Student Accommodation and Co-Living with construction values that range up to £100million and ranging from 7 to 30 stories in height.

Our client needs to expand their development team in order to facilitate the delivery of these impressive projects. Therefore, our client has partnered with us to exclusively search and select a talented Project Development Manager with solid knowledge of cost management and experience in the residential/co-living sectors.

Reporting into the Founder, the successful PM/DM will deliver the development process of a mixture of new build and extensive refurbishment projects from inception through to practical completion; working closely with the development team, you will be required to advise on feasibility and due diligence of new acquisitions as well as maximising value from sites through procurement, contractor management, cost management and on-site delivery. We are looking for a person who will take control and be the point of contact to put forward the questions required to interrogate costs and project plans from a client, investor and end-user perspective.

Requirements:

·Professional Qualifications - RICS (preferable)

·Degree qualified; Real Estate, Quantity Surveying, Project or Construction Management

·At least 5-8 years' experience in property development with experience on comparable prime real estate

·Extensive experience and proficiency in managing developments from acquisition through to project completion

·Cost Management background ideal

·Excellent communication

·Proactive, committed and enthusiastic approach

Remuneration:

Base Salary: £75,000 to £90,000 pa (negotiable)

Benefits: Pension, Healthcare

Bonus: Discretionary
