About the Role
We are working with a well established and growing residential developer and operator delivering high quality rental homes and sustainable neighbourhoods across the UK. The business has a strong existing portfolio and a significant development and acquisition pipeline, supported by long term institutional investment.
Due to continued growth, an opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Project Manager to support the delivery of residential projects from handover through to completion of the Defects Liability Period.
The role
Reporting to a Senior Project Manager, you will support the successful delivery of multiple residential schemes, working closely with contractors, consultants and internal teams. The role offers broad exposure across the development lifecycle within a client side environment.
Key responsibilities
- Support delivery of residential projects from handover to completion of the Defects Liability Period
- Assist with programme delivery, quality control and cost management
- Support health and safety management, including Health and Safety File information
- Coordinate and liaise with contractors and external stakeholders
- Attend project meetings, record actions and support follow up
- Prepare project and progress reports
- Assist with document control and project administration
- Support identification of variations or changes in scope to minimise cost exposure
- Ensure sites are set up and maintained to high standards
About you
- Degree and or professional qualification in Project Management, Construction, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying or similar
- Ideally two or more years experience in an Assistant Project Manager or project support role
- Understanding of RIBA Stages 1 to 4, NHBC requirements and construction standards
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Experience using project management or reporting systems
- SMSTS desirable but not essential
