An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Property Management Surveyor / Associate to join a leading property consultancy, taking responsibility for the management of a prominent shopping centre in South London.

This is a highly client facing position suited to someone who enjoys being close to the asset, occupiers and operational team. You will work alongside an established on-site team and have significant responsibility for the day-to-day property management and performance of the scheme.

The Role

You will take a leading role in the management of the property, acting as a key point of contact for the client, occupiers and wider professional team.

Responsibilities will include:

• Managing the day-to-day property management of a significant retail asset
• Building strong relationships with the client, occupiers and on-site operational teams
• Managing service charge budgets, reconciliations, cashflow and financial reporting
• Monitoring expenditure, supplier payments and credit control
• Preparing regular client reports and contributing to asset strategy
• Managing lease events, licenses, tenant compliance and wider property matters
• Working closely with FM and third-party suppliers to maintain high operational standards
• Supporting lettings, disposals, acquisitions and other transnational activity where required
• Driving occupier engagement and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction
• Supporting and implementing ESG and sustainability initiatives
• Ensuring appropriate health & safety and property compliance standards are maintained
• Providing guidance and support to junior members of the wider property management team

About You

An experienced commercial property management professional who is comfortable taking ownership of a major client instruction.

Ideally, you will:

• Be MRICS qualified (preferred), although strong relevant experience will also be considered
• Have a strong background in commercial property management
• Ideally have experience managing retail, shopping centre or mixed-use assets
• Have strong service charge and property management accounting knowledge
• Be confident dealing directly with clients and occupiers
• Have a good understanding of commercial leases and landlord & tenant matters
• Be commercially minded with strong reporting and communication skills
• Be comfortable working closely with facilities management and operational teams
• Have the confidence to manage competing priorities within a busy, high-profile asset
