About the Role

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
Type: Full-time, Permanent

Are you passionate about building community and delivering exceptional service with personality? Do you have professional barista experience and thrive in a role where no two days are the same?

I am seeking a Community Experience Manager for a flexible workspace in West London home to a buzzing ecosystem of creative and growing businesses. This is your opportunity to take the lead on delivering a seamless, service-driven experience, blending front-of-house operations with high-end coffee culture.

About the Role

This isn't just a community manager job - it's a hybrid role with real impact. You'll own the daily rhythm of the workspace and café, becoming the first and lasting impression for everyone who walks through the door. You'll support occupiers through every stage of their journey, from onboarding to renewal, while running a well-loved café space at the heart of the building.

Key Responsibilities

Workspace & Community Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for occupiers, suppliers, vendors, and visitors
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the flexible workspace and communal areas
  • Maintain a high standard of presentation, comfort, and functionality across all shared spaces
  • Provide guided tours to prospective occupiers, discussing workspace availability and pricing
  • Coordinate with the Sales Manager to support occupancy and revenue goals
  • Support occupier onboarding and be proactive in maintaining long-term satisfaction

Front of House & Customer Experience

  • Deliver a welcoming, professional, and friendly reception experience
  • Ensure the front-of-house is always presentable, inviting, and brand-aligned
  • Build strong relationships with the businesses and teams using the space
  • Act as the face of the site - remembering names, anticipating needs, and creating moments that matter

Barista & Café Operations

  • Serve consistently high-quality coffee, tea, and beverages using high-end barista equipment
  • Manage café stock, cleanliness, and daily opening/closing procedures
  • Develop a warm and engaging café atmosphere that supports collaboration and social connection
  • Champion sustainability and quality in every cup you serve

Operational Excellence

  • Support compliance with health & safety, building regulations, RICS, and ISO standards
  • Work closely with facilities teams and external providers to ensure smooth building performance
  • Monitor, escalate, and resolve issues promptly to maintain service excellence
  • Contribute to service reviews and process improvements

What You'll Bring

  • 2+ years' experience in a similar role - ideally combining hospitality, workspace or retail ops
  • Proven barista skills with experience using high-end espresso machines
  • A people-first approach - confident, charismatic, and great at building relationships
  • Operational know-how, with the ability to stay organised, proactive, and solutions-focused
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • An understanding of multi-let or flexible workspaces is a bonus

Why This Role Stands Out

  • Be the heartbeat of a thriving professional community in a stunning heritage space
  • Enjoy a varied and fulfilling day-to-day - from cappuccinos to community events
  • Own your environment and shape the culture of the building
  • Join a team that values creativity, authenticity, and service with soul

If you love great coffee, great spaces, and great people - and you're ready to combine hospitality, operations, and leadership - we'd love to hear from you.
