About the Role
Viewings & Inventory Associate
The organisation
Cobalt is partnering with a well-established, privately backed Build-to-Rent operator with a portfolio of around 2,500 homes and ambitious expansion plans across the UK. As the business continues to grow in the Midlands, they are looking to appoint a Viewings & Inventory Associate to support prospective and existing residents throughout their moving journey.
The role
This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused property professional to join a growing Build-to-Rent operator on an initial 6 month fixed-term contract initially. As a Viewings & Inventory Associate, you'll showcase homes, support residents throughout their moving journey and ensure properties are ready for occupation while working across developments in the Nottingham area alongside the Resident Services and maintenance teams.
Responsibilities
- Conduct property viewings and promote the benefits of each home.
- Support applicants through the lettings process from viewing to move-in.
- Complete inventories, check-ins and check-outs, including relevant documentation.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to prepare homes for new residents.
- Maintain accurate records using the property management systems.
- Build positive relationships with residents to support retention.
- Identify and escalate resident concerns where appropriate.
- Work with local partners to help create successful communities.
About you
We're keen to speak with candidates who enjoy delivering excellent customer service and take pride in providing a positive experience for every resident.
You'll also bring:
- Working knowledge of residential lettings, property management or customer-facing property services.
- Experience carrying out property viewings, inventories or tenancy administration.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organisational skills with good attention to detail.
- Confidence using IT systems, with the ability to learn new software quickly. Experience with Yardi or Inventory Hive would be advantageous but is not essential.
- The ability to manage your own workload and work independently.
- A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle, with a car allowance and business mileage provided.
- Flexibility to work one late evening each week and one weekend day each month to accommodate viewings and check-ins.
What's on offer?
- Salary of up to £30,000 DOE plus a generous car allowance.
- Home-based role with regular travel across developments in the Nottingham area.
- Opportunity to join a growing Build-to-Rent business backed by significant investment.
- Supportive and collaborative team environment.
If you're looking for a varied property role where you can combine customer service, lettings and operational responsibilities within a growing organisation, we'd love to hear from you.
If you require any adjustments or additional support during the recruitment process for any reason whatsoever, please let your Cobalt consultant know.
