About the Role

Cobalt is delighted to have been selected by a national property consultancy to partner to enhance their thriving team dedicated to serving loyal clients in the Not-for-Profit and Charities sector. As part of an expansive growth initiative bring on a senior-level Surveyor to contribute expertise in agency and consultancy services for clients, including faith organisations, charities and educational facilities.

 

Joining this industry-leading team not only provides an opportunity for rapid career progression as a specialist but also involves collaborating on unique and captivating projects to support these organizations. The existing leadership and team possess extensive experience spanning residential and commercial markets, fostering enduring client relationships.

 

Operating on a hybrid basis from one of their offices (preferably in London or the South East, with options in the Midlands and North), you will travel to sites and have the flexibility to work remotely. Your career trajectory will be clearly outlined, offering a path to future equity and the chance to assume increasing responsibilities as part of the succession plan.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

· Conducting agency and transactional work for client site disposals targeting investment and development opportunities.

· Providing consultancy advice, from development appraisals to valuations and lease advisory services on behalf of clients.

· Collaborating on cross-sector projects at various stages, involving internal colleagues and external consultants.

· Nurturing client relationships and contributing to business development.

· Creating appraisals, reports, and fee proposals.

· Serving as a representative of the company, championing the Not-for-Profit and Charities service line.

 

Ideally, you will:

· Be MRICS or possess an equivalent qualification.

· Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills.

· Currently hold a consultancy role, either in general practice or development, with an understanding of both consultancy and agency.

· Have experience in or a keen interest in the Not-for-Profit, Charities and or Education sector.

· Possess a robust understanding of the broader property sector.
