About the Role

Cobalt is working with a leading UK consultancy specializing in environmental, planning, and sustainability services. They work on innovative, complex projects that have global impact, providing clients with expert advice, tailored solutions and bespoke professional service and they are looking for motivated Senior to Principal Consultants to join their EIA teams, focusing on infrastructure or property. The role involves managing EIA projects, ensuring they meet guidelines and are delivered on time and within budget. Candidates will need strong project management, communication, and client liaison skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead or contribute to EIA projects, managing teams and stakeholders.
  • Deliver high-quality reports and maintain client relationships.
  • Support business development and ensure client satisfaction.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • 4-8 years of consulting experience, with client-facing experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Experience in delivering EIA projects, with a focus on infrastructure or property.
  • Degree-qualified and working toward professional membership/chartership.

Desirable Skills

  • Project management qualifications (e.g., APM, Prince 2).
  • Knowledge of sustainability, planning, and environmental management.
  • Experience in major infrastructure projects, particularly in energy or water.

Benefits

Salary - starting at £32,000 (Senior), £45,000 (Principal)
