About the Role
This is your chance to take on a pivotal role in a respected and growing planning consultancy. As a Principal to Associate Planner, you'll work independently across a wide range of planning projects, delivering insightful, tailored advice and building lasting client relationships. You'll also play a key part in driving new business, positioning yourself as a trusted expert in the field.

What You'll Be Doing
- Deliver expert planning advice across a range of development types
- Manage end-to-end planning applications, appeals, and site promotions
- Represent clients at committees, hearings, and public inquiries
- Oversee project teams and coordinate input from specialist consultants
- Lead client communications and maintain strong long-term relationships
- Contribute to business development-winning new work for yourself and others
- Support internal initiatives and mentor junior team members
Your Expertise
- Chartered Member of the RTPI.
- Extensive, diverse planning experience (private sector background essential).
- Deep understanding of planning policy and development processes.
- Skilled in preparing and managing all forms of planning applications, appeals, and policy representations.
- Strong project leadership and communication skills.
- Commercial awareness and self-motivation.
