About the Role
Purchase Ledger Clerk / Accounts Payable (Hybrid - 2 days WFH/week)
West End

A well-established property business is seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join its finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong accounts payable experience within real estate who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and managing the end-to-end supplier payment process.
Key responsibilities:
- Process and scan supplier invoices across multiple entities, ensuring accurate coding and timely posting
- Process residential outsourced invoices, including coding and preparation of payment runs
- Manage staff expenses and ensure claims are processed efficiently
- Prepare and upload supplier payment runs via automated banking systems
- Process and settle direct debit payments
- Establish and maintain strong supplier relationships
- Investigate and resolve invoice and payment queries in a timely manner
- Perform regular supplier statement reconciliations
- Respond to supplier, surveyor and internal stakeholder queries
- Set up new supplier accounts, including verification of bank details and compliance checks
- Maintain the purchase ledger system and ensure data accuracy
- Monitor cash availability and advise where invoices cannot be settled due to funding constraints
- Assist with currency payments where required
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a Purchase Ledger or Accounts Payable position
- Recent and solid experience within real estate is essential
- Knowledge of Tramps is essential, experience with Mojo would be highly beneficial
- Knowledge of data load on Tramps would be advantageous
