About the Role

Resident Experience Manager

Cobalt is recruiting a Resident Experience Manager for a large-scale residential development. This is an on-site role combining resident engagement, events, digital marketing and operational support, with genuine ownership over how residents experience their homes and wider community.

Reporting to the General Manager, the Resident Experience Manager will work closely with the leasing, front-of-house and operational teams, making this a varied opportunity for someone who enjoys combining people-focused responsibilities with creative and commercial projects.

The organisation

Our client is an established operator within the professionally managed residential sector, focused on creating a positive resident experience.

You'll work across resident engagement, leasing, marketing and operations, giving you broad exposure while taking ownership of events, digital content and initiatives that improve the resident experience.

The role and responsibilities

As Resident Experience Manager, you will be responsible for building resident engagement and supporting the day-to-day experience across the development.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering resident events and community initiatives within an agreed annual budget.
  • Managing social media channels, including content planning, posting schedules and community engagement.
  • Creating content that showcases the development, lifestyle and resident experience.
  • Acting as an on-site marketing lead and supporting consistent brand representation across digital, social and physical channels.
  • Managing resident communications, queries, maintenance requests and complaints professionally.
  • Leading resident surveys, reviewing feedback and working with the General Manager to implement improvements.
  • Supporting the front-of-house team to provide a welcoming experience for residents, visitors and prospective residents.
  • Supporting move-ins, move-outs, inspections and deposit processes when required.
  • Working alongside the Leasing Manager to review enquiries, conversions and prospect feedback.
  • Supporting in-person and virtual property viewings when required.
  • Developing partnerships and managing relationships with third parties.
  • Producing monthly reporting on events, community performance and resident engagement.

As the role combines front-of-house, event and marketing responsibilities, flexibility outside core working hours will sometimes be required. This can include occasional weekend work and providing early or late-shift cover during periods of annual leave or sickness.

The skills needed

We are looking for a Resident Experience Manager with experience gained within Build to Rent, residential, hospitality or a lifestyle-focused environment.

You should bring:

  • Experience planning and delivering both small and large-scale events.
  • Confidence managing organic social media channels and content calendars.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with residents, colleagues and external partners.
  • Experience handling customer queries and concerns professionally.
  • Good visual and creative awareness when producing content.
  • The ability to take ownership of initiatives from planning through to delivery.
  • A clear interest in delivering excellent customer service and improving the resident experience.
  • Experience conducting property viewings, supporting the leasing journey, managing deposits or handling first-stage complaints would be advantageous.
  • Working knowledge of SEO, PPC, paid social or website analytics would also be beneficial rather than essential.

This Resident Experience Manager opportunity would suit someone who wants more than a traditional property management position. You will have the chance to combine resident experience, events, marketing and community-building while seeing the direct impact of your work.

Interviews are ongoing, so apply now to be considered.

If you require any adjustments or additional support during the recruitment process for any reason whatsoever, please let your Cobalt consultant know.
