Resident Services Associate

Cobalt is recruiting a Resident Services Associate to join an established Build to Rent operator at a residential development in Leeds.

This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys delivering customer service and building relationships with residents. Working as part of the front-of-house team, you will help ensure residents receive a welcoming service while supporting the day-to-day running of the development.

Previous experience within Build to Rent or residential property is preferable, although candidates from hospitality, travel and tourism or other customer-facing environments are encouraged to apply.

The organisation

Our client is an established operator within the Build to Rent sector, focused on delivering a high standard of resident service and maintaining its residential developments.

You will join a team that works together to support residents, coordinate building services and create a welcoming living environment.

The role offers:

* A salary up to £27,000.

* A 40-hour working week.

* Shifts of either 8:00am-5:30pm or 11:00am-8:00pm.

* One Saturday shift as required, with a weekday off in lieu, such as the following Monday.

The role and responsibilities

As a Resident Services Associate, you will be a point of contact for residents, supporting their day-to-day needs and helping maintain the development.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Providing front-of-house support, including welcoming residents and visitors, managing reception duties and handling parcels.

* Responding to resident enquiries and assisting with complaints, escalating matters where appropriate.

* Supporting resident move-ins and move-outs, including property inspections and checks.

* Assisting with lettings activity, including property viewings and the move-in process.

* Coordinating bookings for communal facilities and amenity spaces.

* Liaising with contractors and maintenance teams, raising work orders and scheduling appointments.

* Supporting resident engagement activities and events.

* Carrying out building walks and helping maintain the cleanliness and presentation of communal areas.

* Maintaining records, preparing shift handovers and supporting property management administration.

Skills and experience

To be considered for this Resident Services Associate position, we are looking for:

* Previous experience in a customer-facing role, ideally within Build to Rent, residential property, hospitality or travel and tourism.

* Build to Rent or wider property experience is preferable but not essential.

* Good written and verbal communication skills.

* The ability to build relationships with residents, colleagues and contractors.

* Experience working as part of a team.

* An organised approach to managing daily tasks and resident enquiries.

* An awareness of health and safety procedures or a willingness to develop this knowledge.

* A qualification in property or customer service would be advantageous but is not essential.
