About the Role
Cobalt are delighted to be exclusively partnering with a global real estate investment management business, to appoint a Senior Asset Manager within it's UK Student Housing Asset Management team.
This is a rare opportunity to join a highly capitalised, internationally backed platform with a significant and growing presence across the UK and Europe.
The Role:
Our client is seeking an experienced asset management professional to play a key leadership role across a large-scale, operational PBSA portfolio. You will be responsible for driving asset-level strategy, optimising portfolio performance, and delivering sustained NOI growth across a high-quality student accommodation platform.
Key focus areas include:
- Formulating and executing asset business plans
- Driving income, occupancy and pricing strategy
- Leading capex and repositioning initiatives
- Budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis
- Financial modelling and underwriting value-add initiatives
- Partnering with operational teams to ensure best-in-class delivery
- Providing market insight and portfolio recommendations to senior leadership
About You:
- 10 years Asset management experience within real estate
- Strong exposure to PBSA, BTR, hospitality or other operational residential sectors
- Proven track record of value creation and NOI growth
- Advanced financial modelling capability
- Commercially astute with strong stakeholder management skills
