About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join a growing property and construction consultancy based in London's West End.

This role is ideally suited to an individual with a strong consultancy background who enjoys managing projects from inception through to completion while building long-term client relationships. Working within an established Project Management team, you will take ownership of a diverse portfolio of commercial projects, ensuring successful delivery whilst contributing to the continued growth of the business.

Alongside project delivery responsibilities, you will play a key role in mentoring junior team members, supporting business development initiatives and helping to strengthen the consultancy's presence within the market.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead projects through all stages of the project lifecycle, from inception to completion.
  • Establish project teams and manage consultants throughout the project process.
  • Engage with clients to define project objectives, scope, programme and delivery strategy.
  • Manage procurement processes and consultant appointments.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and effectively.
  • Monitor project progress against programme, budget and quality objectives.
  • Chair client and project meetings and provide regular reporting to stakeholders.
  • Identify and manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor throughout project delivery.
  • Prepare fee proposals, bid submissions and supporting documentation for new opportunities.
  • Support business development activities and identify opportunities for future work.
  • Mentor and support junior team members, contributing to their professional development.
  • Ensure projects are delivered in line with industry best practice and regulatory requirements.

 

About You

  • Proven experience working as a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager within a property or construction consultancy environment.
  • Professionally qualified with MRICS, MAPM, MCIOB or an equivalent industry-recognised qualification.
  • Strong consultancy background with experience acting on behalf of clients and managing multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Demonstrable experience delivering commercial projects from inception through to completion.
  • Ability to manage multiple commissions simultaneously while maintaining exceptional client service.
  • Strong commercial awareness and experience supporting fee generation and business development activities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience mentoring and developing junior team members.
  • Proactive, organised and capable of operating in a fast-paced consultancy environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Full UK driving licence preferred.
