About the Role

Managing the planning application process of major projects in London but experiencing limited opportunities for progression?

This is a rare opportunity to join a well-established firm with an excellent reputation in the market, currently consulting on a variety of major projects in central London on a flexible basis.

The team are seeking either a soon to be chartered Town Planner, Town Planner or Senior Town Planner to join them in London.

You could immediately gain greater exposure to an enviable roster of clients, so the opportunity to represent their team, could open many doors for the successful candidate in the future. You would also learn how to best manage and foster new client relationships to become a successful fee earning consultant and further advance your career.

The team are keen to promote and reward consultants for strong performances, offering incredibly healthy discretionary performance related bonuses on top of market leading salaries.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the planning application process on major projects in the residential, commercial or industrial sectors.
  • Assisting senior colleagues on a diverse range of major projects.
  • Conducting research and analysis to support planning proposals.
  • Preparing planning applications and documents.
  • Engaging with clients, stakeholders, and local authorities.
  • Collaborating with the team to ensure projects meet deadlines and objectives.

What We're Looking For:

  • A Planning Officer, Town Planning Consultant or Senior Town Planning Consultant
  • At least 4 years experience within a town planning role
  • MRTPI or working towards RTPI APC
  • Excellent research and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Eagerness to contribute to the success of projects and the team.
