About the Role

Senior Town Planner in London with residential sector experience, seeking opportunity in a slower market?

You could advance your career with greater exposure to the regions, where the residential development market is thriving.

As a Senior Planner, you could advise an enviable roster of clients nationwide and consult on an incredible breadth of projects across the residential sector. Projects such as mixed-use urban regeneration schemes in London to strategic urban extensions, build to rent, later living, student accommodation, and more nationwide.

In this role, you could also benefit from unrivalled business development support from your senior colleagues, to foster your own lucrative book of clients and progress towards a senior leadership position.

A competitive compensation package is available, including a discretionary performance related bonus and generous benefits. Employees also enjoy regular local and company-wide socials, sports and charity events.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing major projects and overseeing smaller development management processes, and assisting senior colleagues on more major developments.
  • Cultivating and maintaining client relationships by offering precise advice and effective communication on a regular basis.
  • Managing pre-application tasks and guiding planning applications through the development cycle.
  • Writing representations to local authorities for potential site promotions.

Ideally, you should possess:

  • Minimum 4 years of professional planning experience within consultancy, developer or local planning authority (LPA).
  • A strong skill set and expertise in development management.
  • MRTPI
  • Excellent written communication skills and strong interpersonal abilities.

In return for your dedication, you will receive a competitive salary and benefits package, ongoing training, and the opportunity to be part of an exceptional team and company that fosters career progression. Here, the focus is on the quality of your work output rather than strict working hours.
