Technical Services Manager

This is an exciting opportunity to join a renowned property brand with a strong reputation for quality, innovation, and career development. You'll take ownership of all technical and engineering aspects of a prestigious, multi-tenanted commercial building, ensuring the estate operates to the highest possible standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all mechanical, electrical, and building services systems, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.

• Manage and monitor PPM schedules, reactive works, and statutory compliance across the asset.

• Lead on technical projects, upgrades, and lifecycle planning in collaboration with the wider site team.

• Oversee and build strong relationships with contractors and service partners, ensuring value for money and high-quality delivery.

• Act as the technical lead for the site, providing expertise to the Building Manager, Operations Manager, and occupiers.

• Support sustainability and energy efficiency initiatives, identifying opportunities for improvement.

• Maintain robust documentation and ensure full compliance with relevant legislation and industry standards.

About You

• Strong technical background in building services engineering-ideally with a mechanical or electrical bias.

• Proven experience managing technical operations within a multi-tenanted commercial office environment.

• Excellent understanding of HVAC, electrical, BMS, and life safety systems.

• Confident in managing service contracts, projects, and compliance documentation.

• Engaging communication style with the ability to build strong relationships with occupiers and contractors alike.

• Recognised engineering qualifications (HNC/HND or equivalent) and IOSH/NEBOSH preferred.
