About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Town Planner to Senior Town Planner to join a well-established and highly respected planning consultancy in Birmingham.
This is a fantastic role for someone looking to work on a diverse range of projects across sectors including residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments, while being part of a collaborative and forward-thinking team.
The Role:
You'll be involved in the full planning process, from early-stage strategy through to application submission and delivery. The role offers exposure to high-profile projects and the chance to work closely with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing and managing planning applications and appeals.
- Providing strategic planning advice to clients.
- Supporting project delivery across a variety of sectors.
- Engaging with local authorities and key stakeholders.
- Contributing to business development and client relationships.
About You:
- MRTPI qualified (or working towards).
- Experience within a consultancy or local authority environment.
- Strong knowledge of the UK planning system.
- Excellent communication and report writing skills.
- Commercial awareness and a proactive mindset.
