About the Role

We have a new opportunity for an Urban Designer to join a leading international consultancy working on masterplanning, regeneration and mixed‑use development projects across the UK.
You'll become part of a dynamic urban design team delivering high‑profile commissions - from visioning and frameworks to detailed design - within a hybrid working environment.

The role will involve:

Developing masterplans, design codes, development frameworks and concept layouts
Preparing high‑quality graphic material, diagrams and reports to support client and planning teams
Collaborating with architects, landscape designers, transport and engineering specialists in a multi‑disciplinary context
Contributing to project strategy for residential, industrial, urban regeneration and mixed‑use schemes across the UK
Presenting design ideas to clients and senior stakeholders; assisting in bid and proposal development
Working across site typologies and scales, with strong technical understanding

We're looking for someone who:

Has a postgraduate qualification in Urban Design, Urban Development or Urban Regeneration (or equivalent)
Brings strong UK consultancy experience in masterplanning / urban design across residential or regeneration sectors
Is confident working with Adobe Creative Suite, Auto-CAD, Sketch Up / Revit and has strong visual and report‑writing skills
Understands UK planning policy, building typologies, movement & public realm and sustainability drivers
Works collaboratively, communicates clearly and thrives in a fast‑paced design environment
Is proactive, resourceful and has a strong portfolio of urban design output at varying scales
