About the Role
Cobalt Recruitment is delighted to be representing a globally established real estate investment organisation in the search for a Facilities Manager to support its flagship workplace environment.
This is a highly visible appointment within a premium, multi-floor corporate setting, offering the opportunity to take ownership of a best-in-class office that blends cutting-edge technology, high-end amenities, and a strong focus on user experience. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead day-to-day delivery of all hard and soft FM services across a high-specification corporate workplace
- Oversee contractor appointment, mobilisation, and performance management, ensuring adherence to SLAs and KPIs
- Manage planned and reactive maintenance programmes, ensuring full compliance with statutory and internal standards
- Support and lead refurbishment and workplace enhancement projects, ensuring minimal operational disruption
- Drive procurement activity including RFI/RFP processes, contract negotiation, and supplier performance optimisation
- Maintain robust compliance frameworks across health & safety, risk management, and business continuity planning
- Oversee security protocols and building access systems, ensuring discretion and alignment with sensitive operational requirements
- Manage service charge budgets, tracking expenditure and identifying efficiencies without compromising quality
- Utilise CAFM/IWMS and BMS systems to monitor performance, reporting on data-led insights and service improvements
- Build effective relationships with internal stakeholders, ensuring clear communication during BAU operations and incidents
- Promote a culture of service excellence, workplace wellbeing, and continuous improvement across all services
As the successful candidate you will bring demonstrable experience delivering refurbishment and workplace enhancement projects within corporate or high-end commercial environments, alongside strong contractor management expertise, ideally including tendering and mobilisation of new suppliers. A balanced understanding of both hard and soft FM services is required, coupled with the ability to operate in quality-driven, security-conscious settings. IOSH qualification is expected, with NEBOSH advantageous, and candidates should demonstrate a proactive, ownership-led approach with a focus on continuous improvement and service excellence.
