About Me

A recipe for success in construction and property recruitment

So far in my construction recruitment career, I’ve helped clients - both contractors and consultancies - source talented construction professionals such as Quantity Surveyors and Project Managers into their teams. I predominantly work the commercial, residential, heritage, healthcare and education sectors as I enjoy speaking to a range of candidates.

Building relationships with my clients and candidates

Recruiting at different levels, I have built up an abundance of knowledge on the project lifecycle and who is essential to bring projects to life. I help source the best talent in the market to bring people together, make great conversations happen, and am instrumental in facilitating my candidates into their dream roles.

With regard to my clients, it is imperative I have a clear and thorough understanding of the business, their goals and culture, and most importantly the requirements of each role in order to effectively provide a tailored and efficient service. And with my candidates, I aim to provide them with valuable advice and get a thorough understanding of their needs in order to achieve my primary objective of positively changing their lives through new career opportunities with employers and roles that fit within their long term ambitions and goals.

As a result, this approach allows me to build mutually beneficial and sustainable relationships with both my candidates and clients.

Why construction recruitment?

I have a huge passion for the construction industry. There is something magical about watching projects being bought to life, especially having grown up in London. Being surrounded by construction sites and witnessing the process of them then turn into skyscrapers - but also then being able to speak to the people who helped bring these buildings to life, is enthralling!

Outside of recruitment, I...

I love to travel, exploring as much of the world as possible. I love to run, particularly long distance; there is nothing quite like zoning out from the world and just getting from town to town by foot! I also love scenic woodland walks with four legged friends!
